Mark Ferris is a UK Youtuber and Influencer, he has 660,000 subscribers and has had over 53,171,256 views on youtube. His audience are millennials aged around 10 - 18 years old, they are fun, energetic, have high engagement levels online, are playful and love watching youtubers. I designed a collection of phone cases and art prints to reflect Mark’s personality. He wanted bright colours, vector illustrations and a very playful style.
I didn’t just want this project to be about selling products to an audience. I wanted it to be an experience for a wide range of his followers. For this experience I wanted to create entry points at various levels, ranging from the 8 year old who gets £1.00 pocket money a week to somebody with a high disposable income. I also wanted this campaign to draw together a community and influence people to be creative.
This project was very successful, with thousands of people engaging with the collection by making paper airplanes, drawing their interpretations of the experience and styling the products. Within four days we made over £5,000 in revenue with over 450 orders, with an initial investment of £70.00.
